IHLC Team Profiles – Sweden (Junior)

🇸🇪
SWEDEN (SWE) Men’s Junior National Ice Hockey Team
97 wins, 35 reigns, 105 games with IHLC – ranked 3rd
IHLC last held January 2, 2019

The Juniorkronorna, who has taken part in every World Junior Championship since its inception, is consistently a medal threat, but has surprisingly only won Gold twice (1981 & 2012), winning nearly twenty additional Silver and Bronze medals. However, they have made the medal finals in every tournament since 2007, and with the ever-improving quality of players coming out of Sweden each year, look for Sweden to improve on their lowly two Golds in the coming years.
