The Professional Women’s Hockey League completed its awards distribution for the 2024 season at an awards ceremony in Saint Paul, Minnesota, with six IHLC holders representing Canada and the United States taking home trophies following the league’s inaugural season.

The big winner of the afternoon was Toronto’s Natalie Spooner, whose monster 2024 campaign (20 goals and 27 points in 24 games) resulted in her taking home four trophies – honours for leading the league in goals and points, and awards as Forward Of The Year and the Billie Jean King Award as League MVP.

Other individual winners included fellow PWHL Toronto members Kristen Campbell (Goaltender Of The Year) and Troy Ryan (Coach Of The Year), Montréal teammates Erin Ambrose (Defender Of The Year) and Maureen Murphy (Community Leadership Award), and Walter Cup champions Grace Zumwinkle (Rookie Of The Year) and Taylor Heise, who won the Ilana Kloss Award as PWHL Playoff MVP back on 29 May, following Minnesota’s decisive Game Five victory over Boston.
