Haley Irwin and Rebecca Johnston scored 46 seconds apart in the third period as Canada erased a late one-goal deficit to defeat the United States and send 4,500 fans home happy Wednesday night.
For the first time since February’s Sochi Olympics, the top four nations in women’s hockey will meet in Kamloops, British Columbia, to compete in the nineteenth annual Four Nations Cup, pitting Canada, the United States, Sweden and Finland against each other.

As reported by Hockey Canada, the schedule for the 2014 Four Nations Cup at the Interior Savings Centre in Kamloops, British Columbia has been announced. Canada will be looking to defend not only its Gold from the 2013 tournament in Lake Placid, New York, but also the IHLC that they captured from the United States at the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

Since becoming the second ever IHLC winner in 1993, the U.S. trails only Canada in the number of IHLC wins, reigns and days as champion.
