Hockey Hall Of Fame Announces 2015 Class
The Hockey Hall Of Fame today announced the newest members that will join as the Class of 2015 in November, another diverse group who are legends in their own right not just professionally, but internationally as well. Nicklas Lidström, Chris Pronger, Sergei Fyodorov, Phil Housley and Angela Ruggiero have combined for over a dozen Olympic, World Championship and World Cup championships between them, in addition to all having held the International Hockey Lineal Championship on many occasions.

Price, IHLC Winners Clean Up At 2015 NHL Awards
The National Hockey League handed out its hardware to the best players in the world in Las Vegas Wednesday night, with twelve IHLC holders (including current holders Brent Burns and Aaron Ekblad) representing four countries taking home trophies. Canadian goalie Carey Price took home the top haul of the night, winning four trophies, including league MVP.

When this site launched, as more and more boxscores (which now number over 700 on this site, and is continually growing) were added, a noticeable trend was noticed among scores featuring teams from the Soviet Union, and the states formed in the former’s dispersal after 1991, such as Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Belarus. As the sources would vary for where the boxscore information was coming from, so to were different variations and spellings of names from one game to the next: Aleksander to Alexander, Myshkin or Mishkin, Valeri, Valery or Valeriy, and so on.
